What is a Lumi Tile?

Essentially, a Lumi Tile is your choice of photo set in a stylish, modern acrylic tile. The depth of the acrylic tile gives the image a luminescent, floating, three dimensional effect, and the tiles are freestanding, so no hanging is required (ideal for rental properties). Lumi Tiles are perfect for corporate gifts, for a quality, distinctive gift for someone, for taking with you when you travel, for your desk at work, and for capturing those special people and moments in your life.

Do you have a showroom I can visit?

Yes, we are not a company with a showy website that operates from a home garage. We have a modern production facility and showroom located in Brisbane. You are welcome to visit us at 59 Bluestone Circuit, Seventeen Mile Rocks to view our Lumi Tile samples and discuss your requirements with our experienced team.

Are Lumi Tiles suitable for indoors and outdoors?

Yes, Lumi Tiles can be placed either indoors or in an outdoor covered area. All they require is an occasional wipe with a damp cloth.

Will my Lumi Tile image fade over time?

We are so confident about the quality and durability of Lumi Tiles that in the unlikely event of your image fading, we offer a 30 year full replacement guarantee.

How can I personalise my Lumi Tile even further?

In addition to selecting your favourite images for the creation of your Lumi Tile, you can also choose to add some text. For example, a message to someone, a wedding date, or the birth date of your child. You can also let us know whether youï¿½d like your Lumi Tile to be created in vibrant full colour, stylish black and white, or romantic sepia. Because Lumi Tiles are freestanding, you have the option for your Lumi Tile to be printed in portrait or landscape orientation.

Questions relating to ordering my Lumi Tile/s

How many Lumi Tiles do I need to order?

We take great pride in supplying you with a premium quality product at a reasonable price. We can help, whether you want just one Lumi Tile to use as a gift or to decorate your home, or need us to create hundreds of Lumi Tiles for funky corporate gifts. No order is too small or too large. Please note that the Mini Lumi Tile is sold in a set of three. You can choose three separate images for your Mini Lumi Tile set, or request three of the same image.

How do I get my images to you?

Itï¿½s as simple as uploading your image/s onto our website. If you would like us to purchase an image for you through one of the online stock photography sites, instead of using your own image, please let us know.

What are your turnaround times?

Our turnaround time is approximately four working days from confirmation of receipt of your image for almost all orders. If you genuinely require your Lumi Tile faster, then we will be happy to offer you a shorter turn-around time at no additional cost. Please remember that you need to add transit time to our turnaround times. These vary from next day to four working days, depending on your location.

When do I need to pay for my Lumi Tile?

You do not have to pay for your Lumi Tile/s until you have received them and are completely satisfied with the quality. Once your Lumi Tile is posted to you, we will email you an invoice containing our bank account details. We would appreciate payment within 7 days of your Lumi Tile shipping (provided that you are completely delighted with the product we supply).

What payment methods do you accept?

Lumi Tiles accepts cheques, money orders, direct debit transfers, credit card (via phone) and cash.

Are there any hidden charges that I need to pay?

The prices you see on our pricing table are all-inclusive (except postage). We do not charge for image editing or any other hidden extras like lots of other companies do.

What happens if I receive my Lumi Tile and am not completely satisfied?

Our aim is to absolutely delight our customers. If you receive your Lumi Tile and are not completely delighted, then we ask that you simply return it to us. We will either reprint it to your satisfaction, or cancel your order and not charge you a cent. The choice is yours. Please see the incredible Lumi Tiles Guarantee for more information.

What resolution do I need?

To maximise the quality of your Lumi Tile image, a minimum resolution of 250 dpi is recommended. Resolution is how fine the image is, and is measured in dots (or pixels) per inch, otherwise known as dpi. So a 250dpi image will have 250 pixels for every inch. To check the resolution of your image, right click on the image, select "Properties", then click on the "Summary" tab, and then select "Advanced".

What different sizes do you offer?

Lumi Tiles are available in four sizes, which makes it simple to select the one that will suit you best. Mini - 10cm x 10cm x 2cm thick, Small - 10cm x 15cm x 3cm thick, Medium - 20cm x 30cm x 3cm thick, Large - 30cm x 30cm x 3cm thick

Do your prices include GST and delivery?

All of our prices include GST. Postage rates need to be added to the Lumi Tile price. We charge only for postage and packaging, and do not charge you a handling fee. Please visit our pricing page for more information.

Do you post Australia-wide? How about internationally?

Every day, Lumi Tiles posts our product to clients all over Australia, and we can deliver to any business or residential address or PO Box. We use secure packaging to protect your Lumi Tile, as well as verified delivery services that offer tracking from collection to delivery. If by some chance your Lumi Tile is damaged or lost during travel, we will cover the cost of reprinting and re-sending the Lumi Tile to you. For more information, please visit our pricing page. Unfortunately we do not offer overseas postage, however your Lumi Tile will arrive to you packed and ready for you to on-send to someone overseas, if you wish.
